How do I volunteer at the temple?
The Temple is run by volunteers. You can help prepare for Aaratis, provide prasad (Thursday evenings), or help feed the poor through Sandwich Seva.. Contact info@saiaustin.org for information.
How do I donate to the temple?
The temple accepts cash, checks, or credit cards (via Paypal - see link at top right). Cash can be put into the Hundi at the temple. You can request a receipt at the front desk for either cash or check. Credit cards are accepted at the Temple.
If you'd like to donate by check, make it payable to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin, and you will be mailed a tax receipt letter in the mail, so please include your current address on your check. Cash or checks may be put into the Hundi at the temple. Checks may be mailed to:

The temple is an IRS approved non-profit 501(c)3 organization, so all donations are tax deductible. The Federal I.D. number is 26-0408335. Please request a receipt for your records.
Can I contribute to the Temple Building Fund?
Yes, you can sponsor any amount to the building fund, or contribute $175 per square foot of the temple. We are also be fundraising for the Gopuram above Baba in the new temple. See sponsor list form for options.
Does the Temple need donations of any items?
Yes, the temple uses daily ghee & sesame oil for the aarati lamps so donations of these items are helpful. Also, fruit, dates & fresh flowers for Baba are always helpful. Flower malas may be offered at noon or evening aaratis. Also, donation of paper plates, plastic spoons & take out boxes are accepted for the prasadam.
