Thursday, July 29 - Sankata Hara Chaturthi, 5:30 - 6:30pm (starts at 5:30 pm sharp) Special Ganapati Abhishekam. $21 Sponsorship. Please email your family names, gotram, stars if you sponsor but cannot attend at 5:30pm start time.

 

Saturday, August 7 - Sani Trayodasi and Pradosham.  In the morning, 8:00 am - Noon, join us in performing Sani Havanam. This will give much relief from all types of difficulties, delays and disappointments in life.  Especially good for Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, and Chittra birthstars.  In the evening, Rudra Abhishekam will be performed at 7:15 pm.  $71 to sponsor havan, or $31 for abhishekam -- read about Pradosham.

 

Thursday and Friday, August 12 & 13 - Saint Panduranga Malyala visiting Austin.  He will visit homes for Paduka Puja, bringing silver Padukas that came from Shirdi Baba's hands.  Contact Craig at craig@saiaustin.org to schedule a puja in your home.  Limited times are available.

Saturday, August 14, 10 am - 12: 00 Noon - Satsang with Saint Panduranga Malyala.  Includes Meditation Instruction, Stories, Paduka Puja.

 

Saturday, August 21 - Sani Trayodasi: 6:00 am - 12:00 Noon. Hanuman Chalisa Parayana. Chant the Hanuman Chalisa 108 times. This date is also Sani Trayodasi and Pradosham, so is very auspicious for the worship of Hanuman, which gives relief from Sani problems.

 

Sunday, August 22, Samuika  Satyanarayana Puja 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.  For WISH FULFILLMENT.  $51 sponsorship.  Please reserve a space at info@saiaustin.org or call 528-0807. See list for items to bring for puja.

 

Friday, October 15 - Dassera, Baba Mahasamadhi Day - Sai Satcharita Parayana (all day reading of Satcharita), other special events to be announced.

• WEDNESDAY SANDWICH SEVA, 8AM - 9AM Volunteers make sandwiches for the homeless every Wednesday morning from 8-9 am at the Temple. Volunteers may also make sandwiches at home and drop at the temple by 8:50 am -- please notify info @saiaustin.org in advance. Sandwiches are delivered to Caritas of Austin to be distributed to the homeless. Donations of food items (peanut butter, jelly, or bread, rice, beans, canned foods) are accepted any time at the temple. Cost to sponsor weekly bread is $25, or all food supplies for $54. SUNDAY SANDWICH SEVA - 8:45 am - 10 am :
Volunteers make 300 bag meals every Sunday morning from 8:45 am - 10:00 am, which are given to the Homeless by Salavation Army in Austin, Texas. Items needed for the meals are: 300 chips packets, 300 cookie packets, 300 bananas, 300 water bottles, bread, cheese slices, peanut butter, jelly, sandwich zip-lock bags.. Items may be dropped at the Temple any time. To sponsor food items, click on Donate button, and choose credit card option. See photos - Sunday Seva.
