Friday Nights - Bhajans Class: Learn to sing or lead popular bhajans. Every Friday night from 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm, in Prasad Room at Temple. Print outs provided with words to bhajans. Teachers are Gan Samy and Ganesh Cherkuri. Free class.

 

Sunday Nights - Lalitha Sahasranama, 5pm - 6:30pm: translation and chanting. Free class.

ANNA DANAM (POOR FEEDING) IN INDIA, 2010 - Thousands of meals will be served in India free of charge in alliance with Sai Baba Temples in Chennai & Shirdi.


  • WEDNESDAY SANDWICH SEVA, 8AM - 9AM Volunteers make sandwiches for the homeless every Wednesday morning from 8-9 am at the Temple. Volunteers may also make sandwiches at home and drop at the temple by 8:50 am -- please notify info @saiaustin.org in advance. Sandwiches are delivered to Caritas of Austin to be distributed to the homeless. Donations of food items (peanut butter, jelly, or bread, rice, beans, canned foods) are accepted any time at the temple. Cost to sponsor weekly bread is $25, or all food supplies for $54. SUNDAY SANDWICH SEVA - 8:45 am - 10 am :
Volunteers make 300 bag meals every Sunday morning from 8:45 am - 10:00 am, which are given to the Homeless by Salavation Army in Austin, Texas. Items needed for the meals are: 300 chips packets, 300 cookie packets, 300 bananas, 300 water bottles, bread, cheese slices, peanut butter, jelly, sandwich zip-lock bags.. Items may be dropped at the Temple any time. To sponsor food items, click on Donate button, and choose credit card option. See photos - Sunday Seva.
