Sandwich Seva - Feed the Needy:
Every Wednesday, temple volunteers make 300 sandwiches for the poor and homeless in downtown Austin. Sandwiches as given out at Caritas Soup Kitchen on 7th St, at 11am every Wednesday.
Every Sunday morning (8:45am - 10am), volunteers make 400 meal bags for the homeless in Austin. These are distributed by the Salvation Army at their downtown (7th St) facility for the Sunday evening meal. Meal bags include peanut butter/jelly sandwich, fruit, chips, cookie, and water bottle.

School Food Program - Spring 2012: Provides meals for 25 poor families for a weekend, through Leander ISD (local Middle School).
Bring non-perishable food items to Temple kitchen or food bin. Food items will be delivered to 25 families for the first weekend of every month. Without this food, 25 students would have malnutrition on the weekends.
