New food charity program for students in Cedar Park
Charity programs - feed the needy in Austin & India.
Exempt Status: Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible - Federal ID number is 26-0408335. Receipts will be given at the Temple or sent via email or mail to donors.
Sandwich Seva: Every Wednesday and Sunday the Temple makes 400 sandwiches for the poor and homeless in Austin. Please join the Seva at the Temple kitchen on:
- Wednesdays (300 cheese sandwiches): 8am - 9am
- Sundays (400 meal bags): 8:45am - 10:15am
You may bring food items to the kitchen for the Seva (bread, chips packets, cookie packets, water bottles, fruits, peanut butter, jam), or you may sponsor any amount for the Seva. Many families enjoy the Seva together on Sundays!

School Food Program: Provides food for 16 low income families through Leander ISD during Summer 2011. Bring non-perishable food items to Temple kitchen or food bin by June 25. Food items will be delivered to a local school for distribution to families. Click for food list.
